As the spring breeze brings warmth, kites dance gracefully across the sky. On April 29th, the "Dancing Over the Lake City, Kites of Passion" 2025 Hengshui Lake National Kite Carnival officially commenced in grand style!  

Co-organized by the China Kite Association, Hebei Provincial Sports Bureau Social Sports Center, Hengshui Sports Bureau, Hengshui Culture, Radio, Television, and Tourism Bureau, and the Lakeside New Area Management Committee, this meticulously planned event not only provides kite enthusiasts with a vibrant platform for exchange and display but also promotes the development of aerial sports through the innovative "Sports + Culture & Tourism" model, contributing to the city's cultural branding.  

As one of the sponsors, Yanyi Group has been fully engaged in supporting the event, injecting dynamic energy into local cultural activities and joining hands with Hengshui citizens to celebrate this spring kite extravaganza.  

The opening ceremony drew massive crowds. After Vice Mayor Cui Haixia declared the event open, an electrifying opening dance set the stage ablaze with excitement. The highlight was undoubtedly the "Eye-Dotting Ceremony" for a 100-meter-long dragon kite—amid cheers, leaders and guests dipped their brushes in cinnabar to "awaken" the kite. As the dragon took flight, countless colorful kites ascended into the sky, transforming Hengshui Lake's floral landscape into an "aerial art gallery."  

This ecological gem—a national 5A-level tourist attraction and nature reserve—with its shimmering waters and blooming fields, created a breathtaking harmony with the dancing kites, showcasing the charm of "Sports+" while amplifying the city's cultural tourism appeal.  

From May 1st to 3rd, the festivities continue with the Music Carnival, Food Carnival, and Sports Carnival, each day packed with diverse activities. Against the romantic backdrop of soft kite displays, sponsor stage events will dazzle the crowd, while intangible cultural heritage masters demonstrate their craftsmanship. Attendees can enjoy sports kite flying, DIY kite-making workshops, and the thrilling Sports Kite Grand Prix, ensuring nonstop excitement.  

On May 4th, the Happy Life Carnival will conclude the event with an award ceremony and closing festivities, wrapping up this spectacular celebration on a high note.
